I was really excited about this particular install in Atlanta. We installed 2 new hollow metal doors with full glass, 2 new door closers, and 2 new panic bars with ADA compliant lever handles “handicap compliant”.
This particular opening previously had two wood doors with tiny little rectangular pieces of glass. The limited natural light made the whole hollow way very dark. This door had also started to swell “like most commercial wood exterior doors” so it was time to change the doors. They decided hollow steel doors were the way to go. We were able to use the existing hollow metal door frame further saving the client even more money.
This particular commercial metal door job was in Atlanta. The doors really turned out great most importantly the amount of natural light that they were able to gain really made a big difference. In addition it this particular entranceway looks much more welcoming.
We later installed three more doors on this building. In addition, we added a remote activated electric strike. After adding an outside camera the staff then had the ability to unlock the door remotely without having to walk to the door to check who was at the door. This had been a problem that they had been dealing with for years.
